It is my belief that horses lead us on a journey that brings us to our best selves. They help us discover who we were, who we are and who we want to be.I started my own journey into the healing nature of horses over 20 years ago, as a trail guide and wrangler. I watched people transform in the presence of these amazing animals, whether they were with them for one hour or for 5 days. I began to delve more deeply into the relationship between horse and people when I became certified through the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association. I followed that with a certification for Equine Interaction Professionals in Education. For the last 10 years, I have been a facilitator and Programs Director for a nonprofit equine assisted therapy center, and have witnessed countless awe-inspiring moments between horses and people that have made me believe whole-heartedly in the intuitive teaching and healing power of horses.My passions are facilitating the relationship between horses and humans, creating a sense of space for exploration and enlightenment and listening to the messages that the horses are trying to convey. These soul mates of mine have been working on teaching me patience, balance and flexibility (literally and figuratively) for more than half of my life.
