Gained experience starting a business from the ground up including complete rehabilitation of the building and land ourselves as well as hiring contractors.

The position I held was Administrative Assistant to the three directors of the anesthesiadepartment. Within this position my duties included scheduling appointments for painmanagement clinic, setting up new patient charts, getting prior authorization for the insurancecompany if needed, and sending billing reports to the billing office. I also managed the threedirectors' personal calendars by setting up meetings and reminding them of their daily schedule.

Within this position my responsibilities were to interact with members and providers throughtelephone in response to claim inquires. I provide information pertaining to claim adjudicationincluding method of payment, co-pay, or deductible amounts, reason for denial, and claimstatus.

My duties included answering a high volume of calls daily, routing calls where they needed to goand assisting clients and customers with any questions or concerns. I also assisted witheverything from explaining coverage to enrolling new members. Every aspect of customerservice and satisfaction was applied. Helping the customers and client as much as possible wasa top priority.

At this position I handled incoming calls, processing transactions and referring other productssuch as credit cards, lines of credit, investments and mortgages. Assisted customers withaccount information and always made sure all customers were satisfied.
