As the Diversity and Talent Acquisition Specialist, I am responsible for supporting Marcus Thomas' DEI and talent needs. I utilize strategic planning and communication to effectively plan and implement DEI programs as well as recruit and support external candidates and internal stakeholders through the interviewing and onboarding process. My purpose is to accelerate agency growth as a steward of culture, great work, talent and change.

⁄ Assist client teams including Akron Children’s Hospital, Behr Paint, Troy-Bilt®, Better Sleep Council, KILZ® Primer and more⁄ Maintain collaborative partnerships with social influencers for home and garden clients⁄ Develop and manage content creation for social media marketing campaigns⁄ Create and maintain media contact databases and conduct outreach for earned opportunities in local and national publications o Secured earned media opportunities in HuffPost, Washington Post and on “The Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda”⁄ Coordinate with human resources and leadership teams to develop culture and inclusion initiatives to increase minority representation agency wide

⁄ Work with public relations team on magazine correspondence including sample sends, credit information and image requests⁄ Assist in the development and promotion of top shopper affiliate program⁄ Collaborate with creative team to develop media components for social media and digital advertising⁄ Track and measure social media influencer program to determine what direction to move in for the following season

⁄ Assist client teams including the American Contract Bridge League, DMD Soccer, the United States Department of Labor Job Corps and StyleBlueprint⁄ Create media lists and social media content, pitch local and national news outlets, draft press releases and create and maintain blogger partnerships⁄ Secured placement for clients in local news outlets including NPR affiliate Houston Matters and Nashville Community newspaper Green Hills News
