I began my career with Higginbotham in 2007 and have worked heavily in the areas of life science, fine art, and non-profits. I spent the first eight years at Higginbotham in a technical marketing role where I gained in-depth knowledge of coverage and negotiated directly with insurance carriers. That experience is a huge benefit as I work daily with businesses to help them find the best coverage for their needs. My specialization in art-related industries, stems from my education in fine arts. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree and earned a Masters of Fine Arts from Texas Woman's University in 2017. As an artist myself, concentrating in photography and bookmaking, being connected to creatives in my "9 to 5" has been very gratifying. To bolster my technical insurance expertise, I obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2011 and am currently pursing my Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation.Having grown up all over the world, I am fluent in Spanish and my husband and I travel regularly to explore new places and cultures.
