Since childhood, I have been passionate about educating the girl child and the less privileged in society. I have had the opportunity to lead solo advocacy drives and volunteer for international and national non-profits, including Mercy Corp, TY Danjuma Foundation, and the SOS Children Villages. In my past experience, I worked as a Programs Associate in charge of the Women Techsters initiative of Tech4Dev. In this role, I managed the Women Techsters program to equip young girls and women in Africa with digital skills to access decent job opportunities and scale their ideas into tech businesses and deep tech startups.In 2021, I was responsible for piloting and implementing the Fellowship, Bootcamps, Masterclasses, and Open Day events which directly impacted 10,093 girls and women across Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and Egypt. With a larger team and more capable hands in 2022, I was made the Women Techsters Fellowship programs lead. I implemented the 2022 plan of training 1,500 women and girls across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, D.R. Congo, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, Angola, Algeria, and Morocco.Having created program documentations, implemented key program deliverables, and onboarded capable hands to manage the Women Techsters program, I joined Techcircle as a Project Manager where I coordinate programs and organize various events that bring founders, funders, and everyone else in the African tech ecosystem together.
