Implemented reverse engineering standards to redesign an existing industrial machine used in the material feeding system. This was done by performing static analysis and loading calculations. Implemented the DFM and DFA methods that piloted the manufacturing process, delivering the end product to the customer with promised quality and budget cap. Bolstered the design team of JIGS and FIXTURES for Track Width Mine Plough equipment, increasing the efficacy of the shop floor. Utilized 3-D simulation to assess the challenges associated with the manufacture of jigs, working with the production team to improve the process. The presentation was geared towards highlighting procedures of different tasks using Solid-works 3D models and visual/renderings for better communication between cross-functional teams and customers.
