I have helped execute several successful public finance ballot measures; managed staff, case files, and office budgets; provided assistance with legal research and writing; been a public speaker; planned and executed large scale events; staffed U.S. Senators and other public officials; and even cleaned my share of bathrooms.Since 2010 I have assisted public agencies from Orange County to Bakersfield, up into wine country and down Silicon Valley, develop local tax measures for the ballot and achieve voter support. In addition, my diverse work experience includes being a Registered Yoga Instructor; working as an attorney; human services work (including working for Head Start, LIEAP, the Council on Aging, and veterans’ care), office management and sales, as well as government service as a campaign worker and field representative for Montana’s Senator Max Baucus (focusing on assisting families understand the judicial system, provide assistance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, assist in child support cases and advocate on behalf of families to several state and federal agencies). I am also passionate about being an advocate for children and women’s issues (as a VISTA volunteer providing assistance to families with children who faced domestic violence situations, assisting children with disabilities obtain Supplemental Security Income, volunteering for the Pro Bono Project in San Jose).
