With over 15 years of experience in the field of health and safety training, Joy is the founder and owner of Train-U, a company that offers customized and professional training and consultation services to businesses that need to comply with state and federal safety regulations and laws. Joy is an OSHA Authorized Trainer in both General and Construction Industries, and a Faculty and Basic Life Support Instructor at the American Heart Association.Joy's passion for safety training stems from her personal experience of surviving a life critical event, and thanks to a bystander's CPR intervention, she's alive! She teaches First Aid and CPRAED courses from the heart, sharing her perspective as both a first responder and a patient in need. She is dedicated to helping others not only comply with safety standards, but to provide common safety and health knowledge to all who cross her path. Joy's mission is to help her clients build a safe and positive safety culture with a simple yet effective approach: "See It, Say It, Do It... Repeat It until You Get It".
