Singapore.Subject Librarian Social Sciences• Coordinate and administer YBP Gobi accounts and training for all Library staff to enable smooth and rapid acquisitions of the library collection.• Develop library collection in the Social Sciences by purchasing foundational materials in all social science disciplines that complement the research and teaching needs of the college.• Provide in-depth research consultation to students and faculty in the Social Sciences as well as provide general reference and consultations to provide reliable access to research materials available.• Integrate information literacy into the curriculum and enhance research support by providing instruction to students, faculty, and staff. • Provide scheduled and on-demand consultation and training to improve access to Library resources and materials used for research.Marketing Outreach• Lead and coordinate the library’s marketing and outreach to provide a cohesive message for all the Library outreach initiatives. Monitor the Library calendar, oversee events, exhibitions, displays, and other outreach activities to bring a unified and memorable experience to the library community.• Manage programs: Weds Workshops, Library outreach, research instruction, Library email, speaker series “Speaking of…”, and any other ad hoc initiatives.• Supervise all marketing of events – posters, registration, and communication.• Coordinate and supervise the First-Year Orientation and Personal Librarian program for all incoming freshman• Library website administrator using WordPress• Design and purchase collaterals(Swag) for first-year orientation and other events as needed.
