Serving as the President of Adopt Our Community, I was thrilled to join the organization with over 400+ members and more to come.

Serving as the Co-President of the VYGSF, over 40 students joined in a mission to support one of Vancouver's historical Greenways @ Arbutus working with the City of Vancouver. Each week, students joined in individually-led cleanups in their communities with hundreds of volunteer hours distributed. As a Co-Founder, Joy is dedicated to weekly cleanups, focusing on both her neighbourhood and her designated segment of the Greenway. Moreover, she connects with government officials to explore the feasibility of installing planters and picnic tables along the Greenway. Her goal is to encourage community engagement by creating inviting spaces that invites residents to interact more with each other and the natural environment.
