This is where I lived my teenage dream of working for a skateboard shop. I was obsessed with the sport all throughout my teens. I shot the skate team in the streets and skateparks of Ottawa and edited the footage using Final Cut Pro. My work was used in the skate shop's annual videos, which they sold on DVD. I also designed logos for the shop's skateboards and clothing and taught myself how to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator along the way. I designed, programmed and updated the shop's website using HTML (which I taught myself at the age of 15) and developed many problem solving skills. I was also introduced to retail business by working in the shop for six months.
