Meetings alternate between face-to-face in Burwood and online. Bookkeeping is a huge subject and none of us can know everything there is to know about it! By meeting regularly, colleagues can exchange ideas and learn about best practices. We discuss everything from debits and credits to technology that we use in our own businesses to compliance matters. We all use a variety of accounting software and keep abreast of software developments with the main players: MYOB, Xero, QBO and Reckon. Many bookkeepers in my network have assisted each other in various ways and collaborated in work through connecting via this group. ICB members can attend for free; non-members are always welcome--book and pay via ICB website.
