Together with the municipality of Amsterdam, the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, the province of North Holland and Schiphol Group, and others, SADC is developing a Digital Twin of the Airport Corridor: the area from the Amsterdam Zuidas, via Schiphol to Hoofddorp. The purpose of the Digital Twin is to enable better decisions to be made for the area, as partners have one shared, up-to-date information base. With the Digital Twin, you can simulate the impact of choices in an integrated way and then monitor and learn from the actual consequences of decisions. And that is the intention: the Airport Corridor is an economically important area, but also an area where we pursue social goals. With the Digital Twin, SADC wants to balance choices between society, sustainability and economy.
