Joana Zylbersztajn graduated as a human rights lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, specializing in social communication. She has a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in constitutional law from the University of São Paulo and is the author of A laicidade do Estado brasileiro.At the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights of the Organization of American States, Joana was the principal advisor to the Commissioners and coordinated the session responsible for precautionary and provisional measures. She also oversaw the implementation of human rights policies while holding positions in the Brazilian federal government, the municipality of São Paulo, and various civil society organizations. In the private sector, she worked in institutional relations for Natura Cosméticos and Natura &Co.She is a founding partner of Veredas – Human Rights Strategies; a professor and professional mentor at Insper – Institute of Education and Research; and a member of the Arns Human Rights Commission and the Third Sector Law Commission of the OAB/SPSkilled in Human Rights, Public Affairs, Policy Analysis, International Organizations, Civil Society Organizations, Social Responsibility, Business & Human Rights, ESG, and Corporate Relations.
