João Ascenso has been a member of the Portuguese Bar since 2016. His professional experience is diverse, namely having been a Teaching Assistant and Guest Lecturer of the University of Lisbon Law School and the Portuguese Military Academy, advisor of the Portuguese Government, and Lawyer of the Tax Department of Miranda Law Firm. Recently he has concluded an LLM at the University of Michigan, under the scope of a Fulbright scholarship, and manages an agrobusiness.The diversity in professional and academic professions makes João Ascenso a multifaceted lawyer with deep and modern legal knowledge which are constantly put to use in the context of the economic activities of his clients. With effect, besides of the knowledges in law, which go from tax law, to administrative law, to international law, he understands the needs of corporations and the opportunities that exist for business development.
