About João Brito

I am leading now the Smart & Reliable Systems division, which is leading the business of Energy and Aviation, Space and Defence business at Critical Software. This follows a successful period of 6 years leading the Aviation, Space and Defence Systems and High Integrity Systems (HIS) divisions. At HIS, me and my team grew business by more than 3x, establishing business with all leading organizations across our safety-critical and embedded markets. Previously I have worked 15+ years as Safety-Critical Software Engineer and Project Manager.I believe in creating software and systems that reliably work in the most challenging environments. And I like to build long lasting, trustful and fast pace relationships with my team and customers, to ensure a pleasant work experience while building a better and safer world.I hold a Master in Software Engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University and I have been the Technical Manager of multiple space and aerospace projects, building and testing software that is now orbiting Earth and Mars, as well as daily flying over our heads.
