Currently having 2 distinct responsibilities at NOS as Senior Manager, leading the VAS, IN and Services development team in Mobile Engineering and reporting to the Digital Transformation Program and Executive Board as Stream Leader for NOS Technical Troubleshooting Transformation program.Began my professional career as freelancer developing control systems and video analytics solutions using old sutff such as Assembly, PIC micro-controllers, Perl, C, Matlab and whatever needed.Joint TVCabo Portugal in late 2003 working as Digital Video Engineer and later as team leader developing Provisioning solutions, managing DVB topology and responsible for CAS and DRM systems (Nagra, Playready, Latens..). In parallel, took project management roles on +1M SmartCard swap projects, BSS and OSS integration and ZAP Satellite operator rollout for Angola and Moçambique.At ZON Multimedia and latter at NOS SGPS, built the Video Streaming CDN solution for the world's first large scale 7-days TV recording service by merging off-the-shelf CCUR (now Vecima) video solutions with in-house developed software, customized RTSP stacks and high capacity IP networks in a multi-site distributed network.In 2016 embraced the challenge of Managing a B2B Telco-oriented team responsible for all IN Services and since 2020 all Value Added Services as well. Again, combining off-the-shelf solutions from top vendors such as Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco or Mavenir with in-house software developed solutions for B2B unified communication and API based architectures using Oracle SOA Suite and APIgee.In 2018 began leading a new digital programe intended to transform the technical troubleshooting experience for all NOS Fixed and Mobile services developing a brand-new framework that integrates with CRM Customer data, network and devices using dynamic NBA system powered by machine learning and data-driven technologies.Along this 20 years profession experience, combined hands-on software development skills with management and team development competences in many different project structures and cultures.Enthusiastic believer that people and team performance and the key to Organizations success, was invited to co-develop NOS Trainee programe (NOS Alfa), as well as other People and Culture initiatives.
