Compliance Monitoring Specialist
CurrentThe Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) is part of the Office of the CEO Board area and reports to both SAP SE’s Global CEO and the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board. As part of the OEC, my role is focused on identifying and addressing the risks faced by SAP as a result of bribery, corruption and fraud actions of a substantial and criminal nature. This includes compliance with the FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), UK Bribery Act and other global anti-corruption and bribery laws.Main activities performed:• Independently develop and implement testing programs and templates for the monitoring of compliance controls.• Perform data retrieval and data analytics to select sample transactions for testing.• Conduct detailed testing of transactions (e.g.: sales orders, vendor payments) and supporting documents against relevant compliance policies and procedures to identify non-compliance and control weaknesses.• Conduct interviews with internal stakeholders to validate documents and processes and assess potential corruption/fraud risk.• Engage with internal stakeholders across the transaction lifecycle to identify and deliver control enhancements based on transaction review findings.• Agree action plans with business stakeholders to mitigate compliance risks identified and enhance controls. • Conduct follow-up activities to check if all action plans have been effectively implemented.• Contribute to regular reporting to leadership on key metrics from the monitoring tool (e.g.: transactions passed/failed, false positives, trends etc).• Support additional ad hoc activities related to business compliance.
