My name is João Costa, I have a master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto and a degree in Environmental Sciences and Technology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. In 2021/2022 I worked as a research fellow at the associated Laboratory of Separation and Reaction Engineering and Laboratory of Catalysis and Materials (LSRE-LCM). Here, I took part in the project “InTreat - Simultaneous removal of organic and inorganic pollutants in water” which allowed me to develop several skills and apply my knowledge in the field. During this time, I developed several technical and scientific reports, which I consider having been an asset, significantly improving my written and oral communication skills. Furthermore, it was possible to publish a scientific paper “Engineering of Nanostructured Carbon Catalyst Supports for the Continuous Reduction of Bromate in Drinking Water” in C, which you check here: https://doi.org/10.3390/c8020021.I consider having the right profile for any position in the field, as I have a solid knowledge of environmental engineering and based on my academic knowledge, experience, learning and integration capacity, I believe to have the capacity and potential to be an active and useful member in any workgroup. I am a person with high self-demand, a strong desire of professional fulfillment and it is with great dedication that I have overcome the challenges I set myself, always with a spirit of initiative and commitment.
