I consider myself as a curious engineer always seeking a way to improve and innovate.If you want to know what I have been working on, here is a peak.I worked at two companies in the Automotive industry and after at Tupperware Brands. As a Product engineer / Project manager I worked in:• Injection Molding process definition;• Project follow up and time management; • Product assembly and functionality;• Plastic Molds modifications and validation;• 3D modeling (Creo Parametric, Solidworks);• Teams manager and coordination;• Lead multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams and stakeholders;• Report on project progress and act on deviations;In parallel, the off work activities/hobbies that helped me keep the mind clear and sharp:• Kickboxing - athlete since 2010; coach since 2016;• 3D printing - owner and enthusiast;• Motocross - lover, in beginner level;• Agriculture - lover, running a small biological blueberries and blackberries farm;In my previous job as Project Manager at VESTAS i had the following tasks:• Project management of Vestas Digital Business Improvement (DBI) and Transformation projects (software project management);• Manage a program of delegated projects simultaneously;• Secure delivery within agreed scope/quality, budget, and time;• Lead multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams and stakeholders;• Report on portfolio/project progress and act on deviations;• Supervise and inspire colleagues and teams in overcoming project and technical issues;• Build and develop project management processes, tools, and best practices in collaboration with neighbouring Modules and the internal department;• We act based on Prince 2 methodologies and with SAP, MS Project, JIRA and MS Excel tools.Now just starting my new role as PjM at BLIP.pt and supper excited for this new adventure in TECH, lets see what the future brings________________I'm always available to study new challenges and innovative opportunities.Feel free to get in touch:E-mail: joao.moreira.costa@gmail.com
