Dr. João Eustachio is an economist, researcher, and Head of Sustainable Developmental Research and Practice Unit at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, where he leverages his expertise in sustainability research, sustainability leadership, education for sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability policy. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Economics from University of São Paulo (Brazil), as well as a Master's and Ph.D. in Business Management from the same institution, João's academic journey was enriched by six months as a visiting researcher at the University of Economics in Katowice (Poland) and one year at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany). In December 2022, he successfully defended his PhD thesis on sustainability leadership.
