I am a consultant with proven experience in the power sector, spanning advisory to transactions, system modeling, energy transition, and market design, with a global footprint and a special focus in Latin America. I currently hold the position of Head of International Market Studies at PSR.I have been the lead market consultant in transactions (M&A and financing deals) of electricity and gas assets in several countries. I have also led energy transition and planning studies for sectoral authorities, in addition to serving as an instructor in training courses about electricity market frameworks, energy auctions, and power systems modeling. My international experience encompasses projects in over 25 countries, supporting public, private and multilateral institutions.I am an industrial engineer from UFRJ (cum laude) with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Operations Research) from PUC-Rio. I have authored or co-authored books and technical papers published nationally and abroad. Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Enthusiastic about competitive power markets.
