Empowering students in Africa with problem-solving, technology, and entrepreneurship skills through a set of Courses and a European Network of Engineering Students. Our mission is to equip participants to address diverse challenges while fostering impactful volunteering.Still a lot to be done, but the vision remains.

Together with 5 co-boardies we were responsible for leading and shaping the future of ESTIEM (European students of Industrial Engineering and Management) is a Network of European IEM students present in nearly 80 Universities distributed by 26 countries. Main Highlights: : Signing a contract with the European Commission, having for the first time paid employees, managing a portfolio of 170+ events all around Europe, managing 8 international teams, and development of the long-term strategic plan for ESTIEM

Businessbooster é um serviço da ESTIEM que promove o desenvolvimento de capacidades empreendedoras na network, isto é realizado maioritariamente através da organização de eventos e a criação de outras oportunidades.Como líder da businessbooster durante 1 ano estive responsável por guiar o projeto, gerir a equipa e comunicação com outras entidades e stakeholder.Conquistas principais: Aumento do número de eventos presenciais em 300%, realização de 2 parcerias (1 monetária com uma startup e 1 não monetária com uma associação)Businessbooster is a service within ESTIEM thats responsible for creating oppurtuinites for the students to develop their entrepreneurial skills, this is mainly done through the organization of events and the creation of other oppurtunities.As businessbooster leader I am responsible for stering the entity into the right direction, managing the team and communication with other stackholders.Main accomplishments: Increased the number of offline event in 300% and signed 2 parterships (1 monetary with a startup and 1 non monetary with another association).

Businessbooster é um serviço da ESTIEM que promove a inovação (empreendedorismo e intra-empreendorismo) na network.Como Event Responsible estava em constante contacto com Local Groups (outras organizações estudantes de EGI pela Europa), estava responsável por garantir a boa qualidade dos nossas ofertas e por desenvolver as mesmas.Businessbooster is a service of ESTIEM which promotes innovation (entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship) in its network.As event responsible, I was in constant contact with other Local Groups (students organizations throughout Europe), was responsible for guaranteeing good quality of our offerings and developing the event pool.

A ESTIEM Local Group Aveiro é um núcleo de estudantes de EGI da universidade de Aveiro focada em aproximar os nossos estudantes à EGI Europa e fornecendo oportunidades para se desenvolverem pessoal e profissionalmente.Como Vice-Local Responsible (equivalente a Vice-Presidente geral) tive de gerir uma equipa de 20 pessoas, com maior ênfase nos vice-presidentes das várias equipas, trabalhar em projetos comuns com outras organizações de estudantes e no desenvolvimento estratégico da entidade.ESTIEM Local Group Aveiro is a student organization of IEM students from Aveiro, focused on connecting IEM in Aveiro to IEM Europe, we also deliver offerings that develop our students both personally and professionally.As Vice-Local Responsible (equivalent to Vice-President) I was responsible for managing a team of 20, specially the board, working on common projects with other student entities and developing the organization on a strategical level.

Como colaborador contribuí para a organização de eventos, ajudando com a preparação das atividades e da logística inerente às mesmas.Durante este ano fui o Project Leader da organização de um evento, onde tive pela primeira vez a oportunidade de gerir uma equipa e de ser o principal responsável pela organização da mesma.As a collaborator I was helping with the organization of events by contributing to the preparation of all the activities and their Logistics.During this year I had the chance to be a Project Leader of an event and for the first time I had to manage a team and be the main responsible for the outcomes of such a project.
