As a young worker, I assisted my father in managing his piglets business. After finishing mandatory school, I moved to Luxembourg to work at Cebi during my planned gap year. There, I mostly resined thermostats and welded fuses to cables. I learned how to be a part of a large company and adapt to the factory environment.Back in Portugal, this experience helped me overcome adaptation challenges during my subsequent 2 years at Palma e Silvestre. As a CNC operator, I also had other responsibilities, including welding tin and to be a part on assembling big events such as Web Summit, Rock in Rio, and NOS Alive, as well as smaller events both in and outside the country.Nowadays I’m back at CEBI Luxembourg. My function, now as a “regleur” (adjuster), is to assemble moldes to pressing machines (including their specific pre-defined functioning parameters), and to solve minimal technical and mechanical problems, to produce diverse small metal-made pieces.In summary, my diverse experiences, have equipped me with a range of skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges. I am eager to continue growing and developing my skills, and I am confident that I would be a valuable asset to any team.
