JP Deka has worked on the forecasting of time-series data using Reservoir Computing, and also on the hyperparameter tuning of his model. He has also successfully build classification models to train and test Mammogram Data, Indian Diabetes Data, etc. using Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machines, Sequential Neural Networks (Keras), etc. As of now, he is working on an unsupervised learning rule known as the Input-Correlations Only learning, which is a differential Hebbian learning rule and exploring its implications in the time-series analysis of physical systems and in the biomedical sector. Apart from this, exploration of quantum reservoir computing is another area he is interested in.
