Vice President Of National Inventory
Responsible for inventory and equipment management for 125 franchise automotive service locations spanning over 18 states. • Develop and manage inventory control strategies to ensure accuracy/compliance with franchise agreements, preventing shrinkage or excessive growth resulting in significant cashflow protection.• Responsible for establishing processes and procedures for inventory control across the organization and training regional directors and store managers.• Research and analyze transactional inventory reporting and create summary analysis for stakeholders including collaborating with accounting, store managers and regional directors to ensure product is returned and properly credited resulting in cost savings to the company.• Develop, manage, and implement pricing strategy for all stores utilizing two different point of sale systems.• Responsible for the procurement of all stocked product and shop equipment.• Establish protocols for equipment repairs to include compliance inspections. • Analyze market trends for new products for the automotive industry to determine proper products/equipment for the store locations. • Develop vendor relationships and participate in negotiations of vendor agreements and perform quarterly business reviews ensuring the best pricing for the organization.• New store acquisition inventory analysis to determine purchase price eliminating dead inventory resulting in significant savings on the purchase price. Establish stocking levels for new acquisitions and implement stocking plan.
