Human Rights Lawyer
CurrentJean Paul is a highly experienced lawyer and human rights advocate with over 17 years of experience managing programs on legal aid, equality, gender, women’s rights, children rights, refugee rights, and the law in Africa. His work has included strategic planning, program/project conceptualization and implementation, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, fundraising, and partnership development. Jean Paul leads work on ending sexual violence in Africa. He has undertaken successful legal and policy advocacy initiatives at the African Union and the United Nations and led projects on litigation and legal advocacy. Jean Paul holds an MA in Project Planning and Management, Undergraduate degree in Law and Post graduate Diploma in legal practice and French Language. He holds certificates in Women's rights, Rights of persons with disabilities, children rights and ICT.
