Towards the realisation of Carrier Aggregation (LTE-A) as well as Next generation 5G Network, this is a critical area of concern as the scale is much wider than core network.With increasing capacity, it is important to make sure that the newer, more powerful gear doesn't consume more power than the existing one. Robustness to climate changes in case of outdoor installation and asset security are other areas of consideration.I also like learning about the latest paradigms of efficient Network Design that are cost-effective, resilient to failures, as well as easier to scale up without incurring huge Capital Expenditure.
