I created assembly manuals and test procedures for tools used in Measuring While Drilling (MWD) and Logging While Drilling (LWD) applications including photographs and illustrations for manufacturing assembly personnel. Collaborated with team members onsite and remotely through file sharing and instant messaging to complete projects on schedule.

I researched, compiled and developed assembly instructions and process-tracking forms. I interviewed subject matter experts (SME) onsite and offsite, photographed processes and wrote text. I created illustrations and edited photos placing them for best effect in the documents. I worked closely with engineers and other SMEs to produce accurate, concise documents for online delivery.

Contract technical writer at Compaq computer (now Hewlett-Packard) assigned to the consumer product division. Worked in a team environment, often from my home office, creating user guides, product information cards and various written pieces as needed.

I compiled documentation packages for tool strings, wrote new documents as needed, managed the library of printed materials and photographed and videotaped new tools for R&D.
