I worked at Lead8 after completing my masters’ degree, before returning to the UK. During my time here, I worked on several large-scale mixed-use developments and masterplans through the competition and concept design stages.

During my time at ABA, I had the opportunity to work on several housing schemes from briefing up to planning approval, and a number of these have gone on to be award-winning completed buildings that are well-used and well-loved. I worked as part of a team that delivered three large-scale housing developments, two in London and one in Cambridge, through RIBA stages C, D, and D+. As it was a small team, I was involved at and gained a deep understanding of all levels of design and production. In addition, I worked on competition entries and the update to Kilburn Council’s Supplementary Planning Document for the regeneration of South Kilburn.

Working primarily on education and conservation projects, I was asked to independently design a new entrance for a school in Birmingham and produce client presentations for the renovation of Baristers’ Chambers in Middle Temple, London, among other work.

Singapore

I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including mixed-use projects in Delhi, Jakarta and Singapore, as well as the tender for Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4. I was working primarily in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketchup, as well as working on hand-drawn perspectives.

Hong Kong

During my month at Benoy, I was working on the concept design of a mixed-use project in Kuala Lumpur as well as the design of an extension for a casino in Macau, working primarily in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketchup but also contributing via research tasks.
