Solutions Architect and Development Team Lead for FRTB-CVA implementation.

Key Technologies: Angular, HTML5, CSS, Java, Gradle, BitBucket, JIRA, SpringBoot, SiteMinder• UI Team Lead and onsite consultant responsible for building the UI component for FX Trading Platform and configuration modules.• Involved with the project from inception and scoping engagement through all stages of the SDLC. Responsible for the architecture used to build the UX driving the use of web technologies such as Angular 2+, HTML5, CSS, SiteMinder and Java for the web server and integrating with in-house desktop containers to fulfil the overall client requirements.• Lead the Avanade team (nearshore approx 10 people) throughout the duration of the project managing UX design, development, infrastructure and QA challenges as well as the daily needs of both the client and offiste Avanade teams.

The programme was aimed at handling the exponentially growing risk related data at the bank today. • The Risk Results Service provides access to risk results data (sensitives, risk factor and scenario results) generated by CS Risk Management Systems (RMS). xRRS transforms results data from a variety’s of RMSs into canonical risk format, and stores the data appropriately.• Within the team I was responsible for building and supporting the merging of multiple underlying systems into a single user-friendly web application which was built using predominantly AngularJS 1.7+, HTML5 and CSS.• The aim of the web application was to fully automate both daily and release specific tasks and be flexible enough to adapt to the ever changing requirements of the risk management and reporting business.

Key Technologies: J2SE, Swing, JavaFx, CSS, Guava EventBus, Git, JIRA, Confluence, Agile, Eclipse, Maven.• Wells Fargo engaged Infusion to build a new FX Trading Platform for the desktop using the latest technologies that could also support a number of embedded browser pages.• Lead the client architecture design which was focused on utilising JavaFx as the UI development solution.• Liaised with the client and business analysts to gather exact requirements and discuss technology solutions.• Delivered a full Client architecture document to match projects requirements.• Helped transition developers coming from the Java UI stack onto the new JavaFx framework.

This is a core risk system in the bank, used to execute Risk and Stress on JPMC positions. • I was the client side architect for this project where my main responsibilities included:- Investigating and understanding the existing systems functionality and limitations.- Designed and developed, along with fellow infusion consultants, the new UI solution.- Provide regular demos to the client and sponsors through-out the development phase.- Acting as the main contact between London and New York development teams as well as the main contact between Infusion and the project sponsors in JPMC.- Assisted in integrating new team members throughout the duration of the project.

Key Technologies: J2SE, Swing, Mockito, SQL, Sybase, Oracle, Perforce, Eclipse, GIMP, JIRA, Agile, TDD, Hudson, Jenkins, Maven. • Integral senior member of the Dublin project development team responsible for delivering key strategic medium and long term solutions for the trading and risk management platform.• Specialised in UI development which presented the opportunity to lead the UI team, design and drive UI architecture and assist in training and recruitment.• Worked closely with both developers and business consultants across multiple time-zones during the full development lifecycle of projects, from which I have gained extensive knowledge in the areas of collaboration, teamwork, prioritization and development strategies.• Mentored junior developers within the project team, which involved training, coaching, motivating and encouraging problem solving and initiative.• Performed and participated in code reviews to ensure high standards of development.• Acquired valuable knowledge of industrial development processes and methodologies, such as, release management cycles, communication workflows, code reviews, Agile Development (Scrum) and Test Driven Development.Key Projects:• Re-engineered all screens within 'Murex Limits Controller' previously treated as a separate application, so that they could be displayed and rendered correctly within the main Murex client.• Engineered from concept to full delivery a generic wizard framework for all dialogs achieving the key goals of ease of use for clients and efficient reuse of the framework across all development teams.• Collaborated with multiple off-site development teams to conceive and implement a more user-friendly client based on modern GUI concepts such as DockingFrames.• Lead the GUI development team in a key strategic refactor of existing limits checking functionality to enhance and improve the feature. The GUI team successfully delivered new, innovative, thin and consistent user friendly interfaces.

Key Technologies: Mercury, PowerBuilder, SQL, Sybase• Writing and executing manual test cases in Mercury Quality Centre during the system testing phase of the Universities administration application FlexSIS.• Running SQL commands in PowerBuilder to extract the data stored in the Sybase database to ensure the content is accurate and consistent with the actions performed during the running of the tests.

Melbourne

Key Technologies: VB6, Excel Marcos, SAP HR, ADP. • Executed commands using ADP and SAP to extract raw data matching the client’s requirements.• Analysed and adjusted the extracted CSV file using both Excel and Access to ensure accuracy and security standards were met before the report is delivered to the client.• Produced statistical analysis on employees and job positions within the Bank on a quarterly basis for the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

Dun Loaghaire, Dublin

Key Technologies: J2SE, Swing, Spring, Netbeans, Subversion, ANT, Bugzilla, GIMP. • Working small team of UI developers my role involved the implementation and maintenance of the front-end for the company’s telecommunications testing product, diversifEye.• Development was implemented using Java/Swing technology and Spring framework in the NetBeans IDE.• Took part in redesigning all existing dialogs in the application to use the Swing based JWizard to make coding of future wizards more standardized and improve the applications ease of use.• I played an active role in all areas of the project lifecycle including gathering the functional requirements, design using UML, prototype development, implementation and application testing.
