• Docket USPTO and foreign correspondence; maintain additional separate backup systems for deadlines• Annuity/Maintenance Fee Management including obtaining payment instructions from clients and finalizing decision list for same• Monitor and respond to all correspondence received in Colorado Springs Patent Mailbox; determine appropriate response and review for deadlines; • U.S. Patent Prosecution: o Review office actions for particulars (i.e., type of action, deadline for response, reviewing for drawing or specification issues, etc.)o Conduct detailed proofing of patent applications, formal drawings, formal documents, and responses to office actions (confirming all rejections addressed)o Update, maintain and utilize spreadsheets for tracking prior art and preparing Information Disclosure Statements for attorney reviewo Assist patent specialist with preparation of response templates for attorneys, file responses, applications and assignments, assist with filing PCT applications• Assist with incoming and outgoing client transfers

• Draft, finalize and transmit correspondence; order certified copies; review daily attorney docket and confirm actions are taken to meet or extend deadlines; process third party vendor invoices; review and finalize client invoices• Respond to client requests and maintain excellent working relationships with clients• Request and obtain advanced payment from clients as necessary• Arrange attorney travel and request reimbursement for attorney expenses• Submit potential new clients and client matters via conflicts system

• Support litigation and intellectual property assistants with overflow work• Provide backup coverage during absence of assistants or receptionist• Transcribe attorney notes and documents• Enter attorney time• Track client invoice and payments• Assist with paper and electronic correspondence filings; draft, edit, finalize and transmit correspondence

Participate and assist with Rescue Run, Pony Express, Fall Series, Winter Series, American Discovery Trail Marathon, and Super Half Marathon. Assist with registration, packet pickup, water stations, and providing encouragement to runners.
