Justin Baumgardner is an innovative marketing, communications, and non-profit professional with 10+ years of experience in the food security industry. He currently serves as development director for Grassroots Gardens WNY, raising support for the organization's network of 100+ school and community gardens in Buffalo and Niagara Falls. Justin formerly served as the content strategist for FeedMore WNY, a hunger-relief organization spanning four counties in New York State, leveraging his expertise to address regional food insecurity by strengthening the organization’s internal and external communications capabilities. A student of strategic foresight and futures approaches, Justin advocates for the use of participatory methods to build resiliency and create shared understanding with invested parties. Justin holds a Master of Science in Communications and Leadership from Canisius College. Past leadership roles included serving on the Board of Trustees for the Participatory Futures Global Swarm and for the Niagara Aerospace Museum in Niagara Falls, NY, respectively. Justin is a resident of Buffalo, NY, USA.
