James Brown is a Senior Cloud Architect at Aletha Corp at Aletha Corp. Colleagues describe him as "James is a colleague I respect, why I respect him is not because his position is senior to me but because of his technical abilities and technical vision. As chief lead architect of workflow COE, he understood the current BPM adoption level in the HSBC and knew how to improve it; he understood the current complex architecture existing in Workflow COE, which includes inbound & outbound communication/workflow/content management/security/others, knew how to simplify the architecture and then improve it. To be honest, some lead architects only have vision which may not come from them, and they only have presentation skills to show his vision and push others to implement them. But James was different; his version did come from his actual review and understanding of current existing systems and applications, he was not only a visionary, he also was a technologist, he knew concrete technologies (WSDL, BPMN, JAX-WS, JAX-RPC, JSMock and etc) , he knew how to write source code and review source code, he knew which tools could help the development, he knew which services/applications/middleware/technologies should be used, and know how to build services/applications.
