Lead the Asset Management business for Grupo Bancolombia (the biggest bank in Colombia and 9th in Latam). Accountable for the performance of more than USD 12 billion in AUM that serve more than 1 million clients and expect revenues over USD$120 M in fees for 2019. Responsible for all aspects of the business including: product design, client experience, operational aspects, technological infrastructure, risk management, regional expansion, talent development, commercial growth and ROE.

• Head of equity for the pension and severance funds. Responsible for the strategy and investment of the local and international equity portfolios. Horizonte’s performance ranked first among the Colombian pension funds in 2012.• Led the equity team to construct proprietary valuations for local companies, created quantitative tools to support portfolio construction and risk management.

•Designed and implemented the global investment strategy of Bancolombia’s mutual funds and investment management discretionary portfolios. Managed assets over 8 billion USD.•Led a team of 17 investment professionals including Portfolio Managers and Traders. •Managed the client relations of the entire investment management business.
