Supervision or co-supervision of eight Ph.D. students and forty masters students. Sixteen publications in refereed journals, 34 in refereed conferences; many research grants and contracts; some service as conference organizer. (In my area of research, refereed conferences are the preferred publication venues, and generally have significantly lower acceptance rates than refereed journals.) Research interests: pervasive, mobile, and wireless computing (now “the Internet of Things”), distributed systems, wireless networks; behaviour of distributed applications and systems; computer system performance analysis, modelling and simulation.
