Current• Supervise and administrate Facilities Department staff. • Responsible for proposing/implementing Facilities Department budget and maintenance line items for all locations.• Manage/coordinate service requests including prioritizing and delegating work to staff and selection of outside contractors through competitive bid process, as needed.• Develop/implement plans for preventative maintenance on all systems. • Coordinate all special projects for remodeling, replacing, etc.• Coordinate facility safety compliance to eliminate any potential liabilities.• Oversee building security and implement guidelines for Post Commander and staff.• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for service.• Manage Multi-tenant property working directly with tenants on lease negotiations, tenant improvements, repairs, billing, etc.• Work with Property Managers and Landlords to resolve any issues and ensure Lease Compliance.• Work with General Contractor on New Store set-ups to ensure compliance with all City requirements.• Work with Stores & Contractors on resolving repair/service issues.• Process all Licenses and Permits and set up utilities and services required for New Store openings.• Administration of Property and Casualty Insurance and processing of any claims.• Responsible for various bookkeeping tasks for several companies.• Part of the Disaster Recovery Team. • Liaison in several ground-up building projects between the General Contractor, Financing and the Permitting Process.• Has an active role in real estate procurement and manages all company owned properties.• Implemented a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) that has enabled the company to quickly dispatch contractors, keep service calls fully integrated with existing billing processes and provide improved cost controls.• Spearheaded a Recycling Program which has provided years of steady income and reduced the company’s environmental footprint by keeping unnecessary waste out of landfills.
