Focus areas included customer-driven technology innovation, infrastructure & software implementation projects, data security, new medical practice development & acquired medical practice integration, hardware deployment, remote connectivity solutions, defining IT policies & procedures, communications, managing physician relationships, and medical staff retention through enhanced IT services for all patient care providers. Responsible for hospital-based applications development and support in the revenue cycle realm, as well as physician IT support and some clinical applications involvement at Carondelet Health - Kansas City (St. Joseph Medical Center and St. Mary's Medical Center), member of Ascension Health. Ascension Health Information Systems in the Kansas City market supports both local acute care hospitals as well as our long-term care facilities, home health, physician network, and hospice enterprises.

Responsible for the entirety of Patient Access services across all Carondelet Health acute care facilities in Kansas City, including a $750,000 annual budget and direct reports of two supervisors and 40 patient access representatives.
