• Printing Solutions Mobile Development Team:Developed and maintained the Samsung Cloud Print Android application, which allows users to share and print files in printers connected to the cloud via REST. Highlighted as one of the key printer projects of the company with versions readily available in Google Play.• Global Positioning System Team:Analyzed GPS and location based services performance of Android mobile phones for Australia/New Zealand and refined system source code resulting in an average of 30-50% improvement in performance. Fostered constant communication with HQ counterparts, QA Testers in Australia/New Zealand and third party GPS chipset manufacturers such as Broadcom, Qualcomm and Marvel to provide quality and up to date support.Development Projects:• OpenIAB Unity PluginSpearheaded the development of an open source plugin together with Samsung Electronics America that integrates Samsung’s In-App Purchase API with the Unity IDE using Java and C#. Received a company award upon completion.• Starbucks Drive Thru EnhancedSuccessfully designed and implemented a robust and extensible video streaming module in Java using an MVC Sever-Client architecture as a collaborative project with Starbucks. The module is operational in Starbucks Philippines with prospects of use in other countries.• Boston FlyerPioneered virtual reality (VR) research in SRPH by developing an Android VR flight simulator using inertial sensor fusion algorithms and signal processing techniques. Presented in South Korea as a benchmark of the company’s skill in VR technology.
