I am dedicated to combatting state control and marginalization of communities based on gender and sexuality. In my role as Litigation Counsel at the Lawyering Project, I support legal advocacy focused on improving access to reproductive healthcare in the United States through litigation that advances an intersectional framework. I was previously a Staff Attorney at The Center for HIV Law and Policy, working to end HIV criminalization and advance sexual and reproductive health services for youth in state custody. I received my J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center (GULC). As part of the GULC International Women's Human Rights Clinic, I helped develop a successful constitutional challenge to Kenyan laws that discriminate against unwed mothers and their children. I received my B.A. from the University of Florida, where I studied Sociology, Gender Studies, and Philosophy.
