• Responsible for the sale of coffee and related goods in 300 room hotel, averaging 100 sales per shift; prepared recipe specific Starbucks items and processed all customer checks in Micros System. • Completed audits of in-house order and charge list, crosschecking guest names and room accounts, and calculated charges; successfully closed partially filled checks to ensure accounts balanced for submission to supervisor. • Processed all end of shift paperwork, including receipt and cash totals and Micros System reports; consistently balanced till leaving original bank balance of $250. • Partnered with kitchen and purchasing manager to maintain proper stock of coffee supplies, forecasted sales to ensure needed inventory was ordered.• Served as On-call Banquet Staff member.

• Responsible for checking in guests and providing customer service via phone and email in 85 room hotel; processed payments, communicated key amenities, and answered any outstanding questions to ensure guest had pleasurable stay. • Performed night audits, including processing end of day credit card payments, confirmed guest departures and arrivals for the next day, and created pass down report for next shift; allowed for smooth transfer to morning shift while closing out previous day’s business and customer issues. • Monitored account balance, in-house, vacant room, and credit check reports in Property Management System; ensured all guests had zero balance and reported discrepancies and trends to management.

During my time working in the Office of Residence Life, I was employed as an office worker from October 2011 to December 2012 including three sequential summers (Summer of 12’,13’ and 14’) Where I then became a Resident Assistant from January 2013 to April 2015 living on the floors of the University’s residence halls.
