I am an Industrial Engineering student at Universidad de los Andes. I am looking for an engineering internship to gain hands-on experience in my passion fields of data analysis and financial analysis. Throughout my university studies, I have dedicated myself to refining my skills in data analysis, project management, and process optimization, all of which are supported by a solid foundation in data verification methods. At my university, I have had the opportunity to take courses that have built my professional passion in operations research, such as multiple linear regression, which has provided me with data analysis skills and basic knowledge of Machine Learning. I have also explored courses in probabilistic modeling and Discrete Event Simulation, equipping me with the ability to model and analyze complex systems.In addition, my degree program has a strong emphasis on finance. I have completed courses in company valuation, financial engineering, and studies in derivative markets. These courses have broadened my understanding of finance and financial analysis, further enhancing my skill set. Also, I have acquired the ability to transform data into relevant information for strategic decision-making and effectively communicate it to stakeholders. My professional goal is to merge financial analysis with interpersonal skills, with the aim of creating value for both individuals and organizations.Furthermore, I am detail-oriented, results-oriented, adept at collaborating with diverse teams to achieve project goals, possess a great work ethic and enthusiasm for problem-solving and data analysis, have a strong ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, accurate manner, as well as conducting detailed reporting for proper decision-making.
