JP serves as the Director of Technology at Hyde Park Schools. This is a dual role bridging the gap between the innovative tools needed for student success and the robust infrastructure that powers the entire learning community.With a deep understanding of both educational technology and its integration within a broader technological ecosystem, he is committed to creating a seamless and empowering environment for educators, students, and staff. Whether it's implementing cutting-edge educational platforms or ensuring reliable network connectivity, his focus is on leveraging technology to unlock its full potential for learning and growth.Prior to this position he served as a campus administrator, Director of Instructional Technology, adjunct professor, Instructional Technology Specialist and classroom teacher.He has led in the implementation of such programs as Google for Education, Microsoft 365, a comprehensive use of Eduphoria, a crisis management system (CrisisGo), various Macbook, iPad, and Chromebook initiatives and several instructional programs. Other major projects have included multiple district and campus website redesigns, social media campaigns, and district rebranding.Aside from his work as a school district leader, JP has served as a consultant for GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc) providing his expertise to the educational technology community. He has been independent consultant for CrisisGo and has presented and trained for Google on multiple occasions. He has presented at conferences throughout his career including at #TXGOO, Eduphoria, TCEA and ISTE.
