I believe in the lifelong pursuit of learning new stuff! Much of my own learning revolves around music, technology, nature and design. Currently, that means playing with instruments (analog and digital), working on media production projects with students and reading about acoustic ecology. My educational philosophy hinges on constructivism - the idea that we build our own knowledge from experience and if you're not engaged, you're not learning! Experience has shown me that starting with authentic problems and engaging in hands-on projects allows for the greatest individual growth. My goal - in work and play, every day - is to continue to discover what sparks my interest and creativity and to model this practice for others.
