In May, 2019, Jessie Phillips graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health and the School of Social Work with two graduate degrees: Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Social Work (MSW). After moving to Washington, DC to complete an internship with the International Grants Unit at the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids she is now a Program & Policy Analyst I in the Nemours National Office of Policy and Prevention. She works to support states as they implement a variety of obesity prevention strategies in their Early Care and Education (ECE) Systems; including those targeting healthy eating and physical activity.
