I started underwater filming in 1995 and have a wealth of experience as an underwater cameraman and managing underwater shoots. I have been involved in many shoots around the world and had many highlights such as overseeing the underwater logistics and filming for the two UK Survivor series and the Disney IMAX production Sacred Planet. I also filmed on programmes such as Journeys of a Lifetime with Minnie Driver, Animal Planet’s The Jeff Corwin Experience, Nick Baker’s Weird Creatures and Perfect Predators for Discovery Channel’s shark week.At the end of 2007 I chose to focus on my passion for underwater photography full time and managed Scubazoo’s Publications division. I created Scubazoo’s first coffee table book Sipadan-Mabul-Kapalai, Sabah’s Underwater Treasure and managed our 2008 coffee table book reef which has been translated into 10 languages and gone on to sell over 200,000 copies worldwide. We have now published Maldives - the underwater kingdom (2011), Natural Wonders - Mountain, rainforest and reef (2013), Sensational Seas of Sabah (2013) and Small Blue World (2017).Since 2022 I am the sole manager of Scubazoo and concentrate on fixing productions in Borneo and working on underwater shoots as dive safety, camera assistant worldwide. I also still film and photograph whenever I have the chance underwater or in the rainforest.
