25+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry working at AT&T Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs, and Nokia Bell Labs Consulting. My work covers several domains of technologies spanning transport, local switching, IMS and TDM/IP voice services, and now fixed access, which provides me with a broad base knowledge of end-to-end telecommunications networks. I also have deep expertise in fixed broadband access architectures and technologies, including--HFC/DOCSIS 3.x, xPON, xDSL, G.fast--access network modeling and optimization.Currently, I lead the Massive Scale Access group within the Bell Labs Consulting Execution practice in Murray Hill, New Jersey. My team is responsible for global delivery of fixed access consultancy projects and the development of new access network design, analysis methodologies and optimization tools for future software-defined and virtualized fixed access networks,I also lead consulting engagements with major telecommunications service providers and customers worldwide (20+ countries) delivering on fixed access network transformation consultancies for both cable operators and Telcos.
