I was the first DevOps engineer in the company and had the opportunity to introduce and implement all the DevOps principles and practices, turning Veda into a high-performing organization. Designed and configured all the CI/CD pipelines, transitioned teams to trunk-based development, wrote integration tests, and led the migration from a monolithic to a secure and scalable microservices architecture with a serverless-first approach. Working with the AWS CDK was one of the things I enjoyed the most during my time at Veda. I was able to define one hundred percent of the AWS infrastructure and application resources in code using the CDK. Also, created CDK constructs which helped standardize cloud architecture patterns in the company and reduced development time.Contributed to the development of microservices writing code in Python, JavaScript, and Typescript. Also, created logging standards for our distributed services that allowed us to identify and solve issues much faster using our observability platform.Worked across multiple teams and helped move our software development and DevOps practices forward by introducing and mentoring others on design, development, and deployments of modern cloud applications.

I was responsible for managing Microsoft Office 365 environment, Exchange Online, VMware infrastructure, Windows servers, and AWS EC2 instances. Automated processes using PowerShell, implemented a Nagios monitoring system and virtualized all the infrastructure. Later, planned and carried out the migration of the company virtual servers to Amazon AWS.Configured new Windows services including Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, KMS, SQL and file servers.

Managed, designed and configured virtual infrastructure, network services, storage systems, Linux server, switches, firewalls and routers in the data center.I was the team leader for the company’s data center relocation. This was a big project that included the design and configuration of a new HA VMware infrastructure and the migration of the existing Linux services (Postfix, MySQL, Apache, Bind, ProFTP, Iptables, Squid and Rsyslog) to new virtual servers. The project was finished ahead of schedule and with minimum services downtime.Also developed a PHP/MySQL web application to keep an inventory of all the IT equipment in the company.

Developed the project and Degree Thesis: "Design of Ethernet Modules using Altera FPGAs".

Programmed a Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA using VHDL.
