Responsible for attraction, selection and onboarding for all corporate and hotel employees within the Americas. • Charged to create and lead a new Talent Acquisition group for IHG Americas division supporting staffing for 1,400 Atlanta corporate staff, 1,500 central reservation staff and 15,000 hotel staff in North and South America. • Led IHG Talent Acquisition from largely manual order taking process to completely automated paperless process allowing for the deployment of a more aggressive and responsive recruiter model. • Implemented a new staffing model, adoption of leading Hiring Management System (Taleo), utilized emerging Internet channels and tools, deployed employment brand and more in-depth business client focus. • Acknowledged by new hires and hiring managers as providing a quality hiring experience as measured by Corporate Executive Board Recruiting Roundtable’s Quarterly Recruiting Executive Dashboard (RED).

Responsible for providing strategic HR leadership and delivery of HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of business plans and objectives for 250 managed hotels, across seven brands in Canada, US, Mexico, Caribbean and South America.• Managed HR Vice Presidents and Directors in the delivery of HR plans and programs to assigned business units.• Delivered HR Due Diligence and management of the acquisition and integration of 100+ Bristol Hotel company hotels; 76 Candlewood brand hotels and 25 ANA (All Nippon Airways) hotels, the latter conducted in Tokyo.• Successfully defended several unionizing attempts of hotels in metropolitan areas.
