I currently lead a brilliant team of design professionals who develop BT TV's infrastructure, building the core head end solution to enable the delivery of TV content over IP networks to end user devices.I empower the team to craft high value systems designs, working with a range of internal stakeholders and external partners to drive delivery of cutting edge technologies to the benefit of customers. I am passionate about developing team members, empowering them to perform their best and challenging their abilities. I adopt agile ways of working in delivering complex IT projects and embrace efficient technologies (e.g. cloud or hybrid cloud) to realise cost effective solutions that can be rapidly deployed at scale, but also technologically brilliant. General interests are all things technical. I have been tinkering with computers for many years, specialising in breaking equipment and attempting to fix them.I am also a sound engineer in my spare time, working with a variety of performers, from a soloist to musical theatre and all things in between (and on one occasion about 40 drums on stage)!Specialties: In depth knowledge of network equipment, computer networks, team coaching/mentoring.
